A life of faith in Jesus is centred around his call to follow him and to make him known. He calls us to live as his disciples and then to make disciples who will also make disciples. He’s created you for an exciting, highly significant, sometimes challenging yet hugely rewarding life. What’s more, he’s not made you to work it all out alone but as part of a family of people from all kinds of backgrounds, encouraging one another and supporting each other on the way.

What a privilege to be here in Liverpool, with our mission to see many hundreds of people come to know Jesus personally and to love and serve our City as a reflection of the way Jesus has loved us.

We are FAMILY ON A MISSION: with a message of reconciliation, restoring people in Liverpool & Merseyside to friendship and favour with God through Jesus. We’re His disciples, making disciples – GATHERED to share life, TRANSFORMED in Christ Jesus and SENT with Good News.

to share life

Being gathered is about being united in heart to know and serve Jesus. It’s about individuals creating community, learning to love one another as Jesus has loved us; supporting, encouraging and helping each other wherever we can. It’s about having fun, making memories, and travelling through every kind of season together.

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and sharing life, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common.
Acts 2: 42-44

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit”
2 Cor 3: 17-18

in Christ Jesus

God’s plan for us is not that we become better christians but that we are transformed more and more in to the image of Jesus. As disciples of Jesus, we’re not just learning what he says, we’re not just growing: we’re being transformed from the inside out. Liverpool needs people who will be a mirror reflecting Jesus Christ; a people who say JESUS IS MY VISION.

with good news

Jesus has reconciled us to God and he’s given us the mission and ministry to bring the message of reconciliation to Liverpool, Merseyside and wherever God sends us. Reconciliation is about the restoration of friendship and favour. We reflect this message in how we live each day in the places we live and work; through bringing life and hope and through reaching people with the good news about all Jesus has done for them.

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.”
2 Cor 5: 18-20
